BEGINNER TO ADVANCED
In all of our programming we separate and sort by skill levels, so whether your child is new to tennis or been playing all their life, they'll be improving!

PUSHING TO IMPROVE
We don't want kids to ever stagnate in our tennis programming. We offer High-Performance classes that require skill assessments to join for the highest performing junior players at our club.
For younger kids looking to take tennis seriously and hoping to move into the High-Performance program we offer Pre High-Performance to help transition them into high level play.

Our Youth Tennis Programs
Sudbury's Junior Tennis Program is one of the largest and most efficiently organized
The Sudbury Tennis Club is home to a vibrant Junior Program designed for all levels of players between 5-16 years of age.
The program is aimed at developing sportsmanship, social skills, and teamwork fundamentals. Its success is undeniable, as the program continues to be the source of Provincial and National-level competitors.
The Junior program began in 1979, since then we've been fine tuning our lessons to make the most of court time. We have found having ample one-on-one time with a coach is important to development. We ensure there is one coach for every six kids in our programming to ensure every child is getting the tips and attention needed to shine.
We use a methodically designed progression system that helps juniors learn in an age-appropriate environment, and at a speed that keeps them engaged.
Note: All 2026 summer junior programming will be at James Jerome/Lily Creek outdoor tennis courts.
High-Performance Programming
For Sudbury's top performing junior tennis players
The SITC's High Performance programming is designed to push our top performing players to their full potential. The goal of the High-Performance program is to prepare junior athletes for tournament-level play, promote physical fitness and proper diet, and encourage overall athleticism.
