We are your community club!
As a Not For Profit tennis club in Sudbury, Ontario, with our first bubble going up in 1992, we know tennis - and we know the north!
When you join the SITC - "The Igloo" - you're not just joining a club, your joining the family. We are YOUR community club!
Membership Has It's Benefits
At the Igloo, membership has it's benefits - but that doesn't mean you can't play like a member to see what it's all about! Enter your email below, and we'll send you a special "4-Play Membership Card" straight to your inbox, so you can start benefiting like a member :)
Committed To Your Health And Safety
We want to take a moment and share with you the many ways we're taking COVID-19 very seriously here at the SITC, and share with you the measures we've taken to not only meet, but exceed the mandated and suggested health and safety requirements.

From mandatory mask all the way down to the bubble, to closing the change rooms temporarily, to adding disinfectant everywhere, and heavily increasing our cleaning protocols such as substantial cleaning of high touch points, and immediate cleaning of POS terminals, we've got you covered.
And, to make things even better, because the bubble is, well, basically a big balloon, there's fresh, filtered air being pumped into the igloo at all times - and we've even reached out to our mechanical team to see if there are ways we can increase our filtration even MORE.

Although tennis is already a very spacious and socially distant sport, we've taken many steps to make it even safer.

Your health and safety is always top of mind here at your local, community tennis club.

Although Covid has put a wrench in many of our plans, we're excited to announce that we are going to be running an adults (15 and up, younger needs head pro permission) club tournament starting in January.
To maintain distance, this will NOT be hosted over a weekend.
Rather, once all the registrations are in (register by December 23rd), we'll evaluate all the names and determine the best format, categories, etc. and it will run for the remainder of our indoor season.
We will create the match schedule, assign the players, and you'll be responsible for working together to book the courts, play the games, and report back the scores.
Each month, we'll update the brackets, publish them, and you'll have another couple weeks to get your game in.
There will NOT be any registration fee to participate in the club tournament, but you will need to have a membership, and keep it active throughout the tournament, as well as cover your respective court fees when playing matches.
Now, I realize we're keeping this rather open and void of detail... but that's simply because we want to make it as fun as possible for everyone by creating a format that suits the registrations best.
All you need to do to register is click HERE and fill out the form.
You have until December 23rd to register.
And, for all my new tennis players out there, don't be shy go ahead ad register! I've only taken the 101, and still have no clue what I'm doing, but I'll be registering :)
Worst case, I'll have a lot of fun playing a few games, and it'll push me to want to excel :)
